See how much you actually keep after UK platform commission (VAT included), Creator and Partner Affiliate charges, Smart Promotion allocation, seller shipping, FBT, VAT and returns. This is a UK-specific calculator, not the US fee schedule.
The standard UK platform Commission Fee is 9% including applicable VAT, not an additional 9% plus 20% VAT. TikTok's formula uses net sales, customer-paid shipping and platform-funded discount, less applicable refunded net sales and platform discounts. Category, new-seller and mission discounts can lower the actual rate, but eligibility must be checked in UK Seller Centre. The official category spreadsheet is linked below; this calculator does not silently guess reduced category rates.
For a £100 original product price, a £10 seller discount and a £10 TikTok-funded discount, the buyer pays £80 for merchandise. Add £5 buyer-paid shipping and £10 TikTok-funded discount: the Commission Fee base is £95, so 9% costs £8.55. Seller revenue includes the real £10 TikTok subsidy once; do not subtract it again as a seller-funded promotion.
For Shipped by Seller orders, a VAT-inclusive £0.50 service charge applies per delivered package, not per item. Three products sent together in one parcel incur £0.50; three separate delivered parcels incur £1.50. Shipped via Platform and FBT do not also receive this surcharge. Use GROSS shipping ledger lines (buyer-paid shipping, platform charge, incentive and refunds) or a single NET shipping settlement amount, never both.
Creator commission and Shop Ads Creator Commission are alternative rates for the same creator payout on an attributed order: do not stack both. Separately billed partner/agency commission and paid advertising can still exist and are shown separately. The Official UK documents differ: the 2025 Finance Report subtracts platform-funded discounts, while the June 2026 Financial Statements guide describes product price excluding tax minus seller discount. For an order with a platform-funded merchandise discount, this calculator requires an Actual Creator Commission and actual Partner Commission where applicable, instead of guessing a percentage basis. Without platform-funded discounts, the rate basis excludes seller-remitted merchandise VAT. No blanket affiliate VAT addition is made.
UK Smart Promotion is a dynamic charge on total shop GMV during the relevant programme period, not just orders receiving promotion resources. The Seller Academy lists 0.5–5% during regular periods and 0.5–6% during campaign periods. Enter your confirmed applicable rate with total shop GMV and period orders, or your actual allocated cost. A free trial must be confirmed in Seller Centre. Because one order cannot determine a shop-wide fee's behaviour when prices change, price solvers are unavailable in paid programme modes.
Buyer-paid merchandise may already include seller-remitted VAT within the item price; this tax is deducted once. VAT collected separately by TikTok outside seller proceeds is not added as revenue. The base 9% TikTok platform Commission Fee already includes applicable fee VAT. VAT on other services and creator invoices depends on actual billing; recoverable VAT is a distinct input. Sales VAT and service VAT are never automatically assumed to be 20%.
When a full sale is refunded, the estimated customer merchandise revenue and applicable platform subsidy are reversed and the original UK Commission Fee is credited. Partial refunds depend on actual settlement amounts. The US TikTok 20% / $5 Refund Administration Fee rule is not automatically carried over to the UK. Creator commission refund availability can depend on creator payout timing, so we do not automatically reverse it.
If the buyer pays £100 for merchandise, product cost is £40, standard UK commission costs £9, and one delivered Shipped-by-Seller package costs £0.50, then before any other expenses the estimated net profit is £50.50. FBT costs, advertising, seller VAT, Smart Promotion or returns can change that result.
No. The standard UK commission and Smart Promotion basis differ. Use the country-specific calculator and check actual seller-specific rates.
No. The official UK programme fee can be charged on total shop GMV for the programme period, including unsubsidised orders.
No assumption is made. Creator payout timing and attribution conditions affect the actual refund. Verify the settlement.
Absolute actual fees and shop-wide programme allocations cannot reliably be recalculated from a single changed product price. The tool does not silently freeze unknown percentage bases.
